so this is the final outcome of what I've redesigned for the whole The Loaf website. Still, it is not a fully redesign job, some parts of the pages are mock up due to the deadline, so don't mind it pls :P

I've changed a lot of the design in the website compare to the first version which I've done due the some issues, so it is not exactly of what you've seen in my previous posts for the web design, not even close to my moodboard(LOL), but it is worth to try new thing if you found there is something not right, right?

have changed the concept into more japanese style, based on the texture and colour of the shop's design which located at Pavilion, KL. Since it is a bread selling store.i used dark chocolate and also orange colour (which is the corporate and identity colour) instead of pure black, to bring out the desire towards the breads and products.

This is a commercial website which given by the web lecturer, our task is to redesign the whole website to enhance it.

The Loaf bakery and bistro is a baking concept operating in Malaysia but based upon the traditional Japanese baking techniques.

The shop is owned by our previous prime minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir and started out in Langkawi. The bakery in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a branch and there is even a bistro where you can get hot food and afternoon tea.

Analysis:
*the colour scheme in the website doesn't seem relate with the brand identity.

*the repeating background of the website doesn't look professional.

*most of the body copy are image based, not real text.

*product showing section's flash navigation is not user friendly, and unnecessary.

*weak in hierarchy.

*main page's promotional banner's design can be better.

*buttons on the left look messy.

*the map on the contact us has some error.

*the overall colour mood is not suitable.

This is the typography final project: {moving-type on screen}. We are given a task which is to design a weather forecast and apply on the knowledge of typography into it. It is very different from the illustration kind of typography which you see from anywhere, you'll have to consider about the movement of the typography in screening, weather it is suitable for the rational behind.

Art-style // Concept

A first try on geometric style, together with simplification, by choosing the object which can symbolize the country. Using the black element on behind the screen to become a main flow-lead of the whole weather forecast.

something behind the scene which i would like to share. i enjoy doing this flash animation from the very first beginning until the final out come. feels good to see your own babe uploaded on youtube. lols.

there are a lot of things which have to be concern in this short animation, the details, the story concept, colour mood, style and etc, which is very important to impress the audience in such a short time. so i was trying out a few versions of art style while doing the setting.

thanks to my visual fundamental's lecturer and tutor also for giving me opinion and comments on the setting also :) really really appreciate it.

and also the seniors and junior, housemate and friends. u guys really help out a lot =D

Little Sender

so this is the animation which i've been working for almost a month plus. a simple story telling with the theme 'Dream.

A little boy lives happily with his family, he is happy to be with his precious parents all the time. But one day, his mother is gone because of an unexpected accident, the little boy feels very upset. Little boy’s father find a way to comfort his child, he told him that his mother is just living in the sky. From that day onwards, the boy has a dream that he can fly and meet with his mother, he had try many ways but the failure has overcome his passion. On one day, the little boy saw a balloon flying across the sky, and this gave him an idea that he could buy a big balloon, tie along with himself and fly to meet with his mother. Till the ending, the little boy flying with a big balloon, together with a drawing.

oh well this one. a tutorial from our lecturer sookchiung for us to enhance our photosohp skills, thanks =)
i added another layer of texture on top of everything to make it look slightly vintage. the title "Mode de Collecte 2010" is actually means Fashion Collection 2010 in franch. feel more "classy" to see those "de" in the word so i changed it to franch instead of using english =3="
at first the title couldn't show up clearly cause of the colour not contrast enough, so i cheated a bit, using burn tool to burn the texture below O.O"

K, the refinement for the icons.

From the suggestion in here and Facebook, i change the base to remain the consistant of each and every vector icons; and also added tv antenna on top of the house to make it looks like a house.

pixel icons i just tune down 15 of the saturation of each icon for the background. not really much different when view it in large size, but when it comes to original size then you can see the difference. hu~ done. thanks again everyone =) appreciate!

yes, silky's icon is finally here in both vector and pixel version =) and it's available for i-phone user! (ok not funny xDDD) well this is not the final yet i guess, have to get more critique and comments to improve.

An assignment for DDMM class, by using AI to create everything. Have slightly change for the icon; the pointers' colour have been change to purple, and also added glossy high-light which learn from SK's class on the alarm clock.

面对着一山高的功课，再加上生活在城市中的压力...有时候真的忘了什么是生活...每天熬夜至天亮就是为了当成一定的功课数量...所以阿木决定了好好利用这个星期天来充实自己...阿偶就跟上啦XD

因为功课比预期中的早做完(虽然现在都已经早上了=.=)

所以打算po点东西上来

这是最近的一份功课

在这功课当中不仅学了怎么应付恶劣的环境

(这张海报是从吉隆坡做到去马六甲再做回来吉隆坡的Orz)

也学会了和队友们相处，

严格来说以后必须和种种不同的人合作，应付种种不同的客人

虽然评语没有很好

但也上了相当宝贵的一课

当然，除了这些，还学会了很多其它的事

可是甭废话了=.=

目的:减少人们乱吐口香糖

解释:全海报都黑白化，除了口香糖和草莓袜，

目的是为了让海报更抢眼和提升新鲜感

此海报的意识没有很直接,也不是很逻辑

因为尝试运用了另一种半幽默手段来让人们有更深刻的印象

好啦知道我的解释一塌糊涂>.<"人家真的要睡觉了

Pili & Fulu

前几天赶着assignments时候...突然有"不想继续"的感觉=.="，而且也赶到累了....所以assignments丢一边....然后就拿一张...用剩下的颜色........画啊画啊....tadaaaaah~~~~(用photoshop上色) 这个Pili & Fulu纯粹是为了放松自己的心情而画的...虽然没有很明显的特征,颜色也不是很好看...可是marion还是享受画Pili & Fulu的感觉...在下笔之前完全没有一丝的概念...从头到尾只是跟着笔的感觉走...挥挥下就跑出这两只瓜出来了=P

不简单的灯笼

进了TOA的第一个比赛^^灯笼设计~这粒，真的不简单...本来deadline是在星期5的，过后一个惊喜调去了星期3(哇劳0.o)之后噼里啪啦赶出来了~~~哇哈哈...XD (组名为Duh!Top 10)

我和Chua设计的初步layout 0(^3^)o

噜噜噜~(我懂=.="和layout有点差对不对，因为临时有了改变，没办法只好随机应变)
本来是很单调的一粒像"绣球花"花酱的灯笼Orz，不但没主题，而且也没意义，所以所以当当~加了位漂亮的嫦儿小姐在下面，结果哈哈有了个够力的主题拉.

死命想到底要做什么样的生日卡，这次遇到了瓶颈~可是还是硬来了。画一画最重要的字眼~

让纸"硬起来"

昨晚收到了电话，tfc朋友call来叫救宾说桌号L7那后面的墙要"装修"，酱好玩的装修工程偶当然答应了咯~啦啦啦今天中午就过去了。到了那才知道......这是一个....很大的工程 Orz 首先我们要翻杂志，看什么适合贴在墙上.(需要几百张!)
之后，laminate它...OMG!就是说要让这几百张的纸"硬起来"!重点是只有1架laminate机(晕~)
ah peng决定先向厕所门下手先~
扫上1层latex...
再把硬硬的poster帖上去...tadah~~~~(很明显这是间女厕)

因为临时要回家...所以没有拍下完整的图片-___-"(表丢我~)

改天我会拍张美的在放上来的T_T

最近阿都每天想着往外跑~不想呆在家，能在外过夜就过夜。(抱歉阿先生T.T)

(当然因为家里有一些事情，搞到我乱乱乱乱乱Orz ) 这些只是上去读书前的一点反常行为=.=" 只想在上去之前，分开之前，好好的和朋友鱼在一起。哪怕只是喝喝茶，聊聊天。或者就只是单纯的坐在一个角落，什么都不用说，也会觉得窝心(very easy to satisfy huh?) 鱼友~其实我们拍的照片并不算多(对吗？)可是已经能够让我回味很久很久了。

上个星期天，也就是6月1号.大家如常上班，有朋友玩了个bar trick^^就是这立起来的杯子拉~之后我们说好了，杯子如果倒向左边就去mc donal，右边就去nasi lemak。ok,最终杯子是倒右边~(事情已经注定了的...╮(￣▽￣)╭)

ok,after nasi lemak，天叻就开始下起了小雨(也是注定了的~~~)因为偶坐朋友的电单车回家，所以会淋雨，所以他骑快，所以走反路...(一切都是注定了的~~)..由于和雨比赛，所以森(朋友的名字)骑不错快一下..(会吗？不记得了..平时也是酱的速度...埃...注定了的)骑阿骑~我头伸出旁边一看，竟然有辆国产车kancil出现在离我2米不到的面前！？！？几像在变魔术~我来不及思考，心里只有1句 "喂！小心车！",可是那"喂~"都还没到嘴边，就听到(⊙０⊙)并令巴郎齐孔磅了~~~那一杀那我是本能的闭着眼睛的，一切快到不懂要讲什么(abi什么叫accident?)我飞过了森，再飞过kancil,之后就睡在马路中间了，只知道左手很痛很痛，没力了。森叻就要练"脸皮厚"所以就直接用脸kiss车大镜，连车镜都爆，你讲拉，有几厚一下他的脸。才不久，就听到森在旁边叫我了...当我张开眼时(哇唠是吓到我直接傻掉了...)满脸鲜血的他在那里一直问我ok吗。问了之后，好笑的事情发生了...

森跑去和那司机吵架(￣.￣)"eh kamu salah la takda buka lampu!"可以想象到司机面对个比7月半出来还更恐怖的人吵架的场景是几好笑的=.="过不久老板和经理来啦，载我们去医院(不好意思麻烦了 >.<")...

我们1半sms 1半洗伤口。照了x光，emergency wad的医生讲我骨裂罢了...但第2天骨头专科医生讲断鸟...omg(☉▽☉)"差别那么大的事实！因此，本人没办法冲凉，psp,photoshop(一些步骤),驾车，做工，挖鼻子(因为习惯用左手) \(￣< ￣)> ..........

前几星期...(忘了几时了=.=")有位朋友托我设计一家电脑店的招牌，

(⊙＿⊙) 天啊我又不是很有本事，也没设计过酱"正式"的东东，一时间有点点的压力咯。1来怕根本交不到货，2来不是很有时间(借口借口~~)其实在设计当时我就懂铁定会被荡掉了的，但没办法已经答应了人家鸟，而且托了蛮久1下得说~

所以.....很无奈的email给了对方偶的设计了~ (〒︿〒)

"顾客"要求的东西我都...........没跟~~orz 这些也只是初步概念罢了哦，没完成~

今天来跟大家讲故事~阿绝对真人，绝对真实~首先来个人物介绍~...

1.话说老板请吃~阿那些饱了的，没胃口的，吃不下的，通通都order~..penguin,boonhau,sen:老板娘，凉茶冰大的3杯！~ (=3=)"

2.老板看到我们通通故意好像要为难他酱，beh-tahan鸟咯~忍不住喊了一句:老板娘！~给他们来一盘20粒半生熟鸡蛋！！阿我们当然一位只是开开玩笑罢了吗~ ^^几幽默一下咯老板~~

3.数分钟后，哇唠A的事情发生了，20粒新鲜刚出炉的蛋蛋闪亮亮的摆在我们的面前~乌鸦都飞过咯~

penguin:walaoeh~你看啦你看啦，老板生日的时候我送他1打煮好了的鸡蛋阿！

boonhau:我直接从家里带蛋送老板~

sen:eh我早上才吃蛋叻...

qianyi:我帮你们吃两粒~

ah kiat:无言以对~(我忘记他讲过什么了>.<")
roland:我.......1个月不吃蛋鸟~~~
那些生蛋的母鸡:walaoeh,酱辛苦生的蛋两下子就给他们啃完鸟=.=lll

p/s:其实我当天早上也是吃了两粒蛋蛋~ T.T

薪.情

育民中学华文学会与文艺学会联办的薪传转眼已经来到了最后一届了，也就是今年6月21日的薪传15之《薪情》.说真真真真的，很不舍的，但该让它去的，就让他去吧~T.T(天啊我在说什么~)

薪传给了我们很多的回忆，一时之间找不到适当的词语来形容。虽然marion毕业了，成了校友，但marion还是希望能帮上什么忙。所以，这次的薪传就帮忙设计了票券...

被选的是第1张~~~恩，应该到了厂商的手了吧？希望成果没有什么问题咯~^^至于t-shirt设计，还是交给其他人来吧-__-"我没有idea了>.<"抱歉抱歉~~

由于最近工作忙碌（￣▽￣）汗~所以就赶在昨天就做了这张妈妈节卡片^^ 恩恩，因为要送给马咪的，所以在用色方面都选择了较鲜艳的系列.. 来来来，扫背景色，有空白就让它空，自然就好≧ω≦
